What patients say about Acupuncture                   I have suffered with terrible pains, sickness, diarrhoea and a temperature during my monthly menstrual cycle for the last 16 years. I didn’t want to take tablets for the rest of my life so I set about finding an alternative route.         After trying a few different methods including radically changing my diet after testing for food allergies, a chance conversation led me to Acupuncture treatment from Anna. It has always been something that has intrigued me; I couldn’t understand why sticking pins in your body could help. To be honest, I still can’t rationalise it but I know it works. Not only has my sickness, diarrhoea, temperature and almost all of my pains completely gone from my monthly menstrual cycle my whole life has been enhanced, I look at life more clearly, I am more positive and happy. Before the surgery I was in a lot of pain, so I decided to have Acupuncture with Anna which certainly took the edge off the discomfort. I feel it also helped to prepare me for the operation, by improving my sleep patterns and giving me a feeling of wellbeing.         After the operation, again pain was a problem but the acupuncture treatment was able to reduce it's effects quite significantly.
